As many of you are already aware, Rotax BRP announced recently that they are electing to part ways with MaxSpeed Entertainment, a group which oversaw the distribution and management of Rotax-powered karts, parts, and racing series within the United States in recent years.

To say that this news has sparked debate and discussion among karters would be an understatement. So, I figured it would be something worth posting, as The Karter members typically have interesting comments about big events like this.
While it is tricky to anticipate the full ramifications of this decision by Rotax, it does seem like this won’t heavily affect karters within Colorado, at least not immediately. Parts and supplies within the state will still be available, and Rotax will still have a distributor presence in Colorado and nationally.
