On behalf of the entire staff of the RMPKC, we hope your holidays were filled with family fun and good times!
We would also like to take a moment to reflect and say God Speed to a true friend Randy Cook and express our condolences to the entire Cook family. Randy will truly be missed.
The 2014 regional schedule is in the works and dates will be announced soon.
Judging by the amount of calls and emails, 2014 promises once again to see increased members which equates to larger fields and increased competition.
I have received quite a few questions regarding the Mini ROK incentive program. As of now, SKUSA will subsidize the incentive. Go to http://www.superkartsusa.com for the specific protocol to be eligible for the incentive.
The National office has asked that previous racers who have taken advantage of this program to please not apply as this program’s goal is to bring new racers into the fold and provide our current “Mini ROKers” more competition in 2014.
At this time I would like to thank our sponsors Billet Performance and Honda Performance Development who have already committed sponsorship towards the 2014 season.
For those of you that have placed in the top three in gearbox classes in 2013 and have not contacted Honda, you need to do so. There are Honda Bucks waiting for you!!!
A shout out! goes out to the Rocky Mountain National #1 plate holders in S-2 Christian Schureman and the “Master of the Masters” Scott Falcone.
Another question I have been receiving is, “will we still run the Rotax classes and will they count as punches”. The answer is YES we will still offer all the Rotax classes that are part of the Rotax series.
Last, the name plates from Centennial awards are in the making.
Sorry but I split my time between the RMPKC, MWPKC and the Nationals. One would think this is the off season and it maybe for racers, but here in the office, rule updates, 2014 schedules both Regional and National, track agreements are all scattered across the table, but I will get it done!
Please be patient.
Check back soon for updates. I will post as soon as I can.
Looking forward to a great 2014 season, can’t wait for the smells and sounds of the karts leaving the grid!Stan Bryniarski
