Yes – but it is well worth the money spent.

Thanks for the input. I had gone to the RIGP site, and being new, was somewhat confused. First, reading their rules, I noticed that RIGP spoke of specific licenses when discussing 125s. Second, RIGP did reference the TAG USA rules. TAQ USA has a licsensing requirement. Third, RIGP invites several different organizations to RIGP (such as IKF members), and they have a separate licensing process for TAG. I am willing to admit that I am just confused as to whose license I should get. I am waiting for a reply from RIGP. Thanks again. jjw

Go to ekartingnews.com and do a search for Roger Ruthart. He is the man in charge of the event and usually gets back to you within minutes. Tag requires a special license. TAG was the dream of Tom Argy before he was killed last year in a traffic accident. IKF and others have adopted the rules and the concept but you still need to be a member of TAG. It’s $40 which is relatively cheap compared to IKF, SKUSA, WKA and others :bs:

I don’t believe you will have to join any of the other organizations and I highly encourage you NOT to. It’s a waste of money and they should all be consolidated anyway.

You can also go to http://www.tagracing.net and email Dave Larson. Dave is in charge of TAG usa now. For that matter you can download the form and become a member.
