ParticipantWhat are some good places to eat dinner over there?
We have been a little disappointed with the hotel restaurant, and have hit most of the ones close to the hotel. We don’t mind driving a few minutes more to have a little variety!
Thanks,

Participantthe italian place “pantusos” kicks ass, its a few minutes down horizon from the adams mark, and yes the hotel resturant is aweful

ParticipantThere is a good mexican res on North street and there is a brew pub not far. Go south out of the roundy round on Horizon and a couple of blocks down, the brew pub is on the right. To get to the mex res, follow the same basic directions except keep going to north, turn right and its up a couple of blocks on the right. As typical, I can drive to them but don’t know their name! Maybe Stacey can give better directions.
But the best place is the Cold Stone Creamery over by the mall.

Great food and a nice atmosphere. Warrington, Keesling and I thought it was Da Bomb. Although if you make your own pesto you might be a little disappointed with thiers.June 30, 2004 at 4:01 pm #47490stacey cook
ParticipantApplebee’s is a great sponsor of the track and they are close to the Adams Mark. The Ale House is a great Pub/ resturant that Doug is talking about. Just down the block from the Bistro on Main street is Dolce Vita a great Italian resturant. Might want to check out the downtown area where the Bistor and Dolce Vita are to get an early look at the future race course for Grand Junctions first street race (hint, hint)

ParticipantApplebees is nice, and convenient, but we wanted something a little different. Last time we even used the Applebee’s To Go service and took the food back to the outdoor area near the pool at the hotel.
Thank you for all of the other suggestions! We will check out something different and see what the kids like this time around!
see you all there,
