Participant:usa: HELLO TO EVERYONE. We had a great turn out and great media coverage at the RACING FOR HEROES event in Grand Junction on Father’s Day, We are hoping for the same great response here in the Denver area. The RACING FOR HEROES event for the military, fireman, police and first responders (5 selected members per group) has been planned for the 10th anniversary of 9/11. There will be fantastic opening ceremonies with the Air Force Color Guard in attendance. We want you to be there to say ‘thank you’ to these men and women who protect us on a daily basis. If you’d like to nominate a ‘Hero” you know in one of these categories, please let me know. You can sponsor your favorite Racing for Heroes kart or team for $75/kart.
The Colorado Junior Kart Club and Bandimere Action Kart track has opened up their venue to include a Tag class. It will be an ‘all welcome’ Tag race for four and two stroke motors. We have a pill draw for starting positions after a practice warm up on Sunday, along with two heat races and a final so dust off your karts and lets have some fun as the 2011 karting season comes to an end. We might be able to add a Shifter class but I really need to know participation numbers to add this class. As with the previous two events, there will be a lunch included for all racers.
