RACER Magazine, Live 105 to rock KartSport Grand Prix
Nation?s best racing mag, SF?s biggest alternative rock station to cover KSGP

    (March 29, 2006) Pasadena, CA

Organizers of the 2nd Annual KartSport Grand Prix presented by Bridgestone are pleased to announce a pair of relationships that should position the KSGP as one of the best promoted races of 2006. The KSGP has again partnered up with Live 105, San Francisco?s largest alternative rock station, and RACER magazine, the most respected motorsports publication in North America.

?Expanding the awareness and perception of our sport into both the broader motorsport and general mainstream communities has long been a priority of ours, ? said Jeff Franz of KartSport magazine. ?Live 105?s involvement confirms that karting has gained considerable momentum in the mainstream, and it?s our goal to work with them in order to further position the KSGP as an exciting form of motorsport entertainment.?

The promotional relationship with Live 105 is one of a kind in North American karting, given that San Francisco is the fourth largest radio market in the United States, and Live 105 boasts over 2.2 million monthly listeners over nine Bay Area counties. The 2006 KartSport Grand Prix presented by Bridgestone will benefit from the following elements:

? 70 radio spots during prime listener hours
? radio spots to focus upon driver personalities, teams, and event details
? contest giveaway for 15 pairs of tickets
? 3000 KSGP/Live 105 event stickers and 3000 KSGP/Live 105 fliers, to be distributed at Live 105 concert, club, and event activities during the month of April
? Live 105 swag giveaways at the KSGP
? live call-ins from the track on raceday by Live 105 disc jockey Pete Marr

KSGP event organizers were also pleased to announce that RACER magazine will feature its largest-ever coverage of a kart race for this year?s KartSport Grand Prix. ?I?ve enjoyed a five year relationship with RACER, and for them to support our race with this type of coverage is a tremendous benefit for the racers at the KSGP and the karting community at large,? added Franz. ?RACER is the largest general interest motorsports publication in North America, and it?s a privilege to work with them on a continual basis.?

The 2006 KSGP will take place on April 29-30 at Infineon Raceway Karting Center and will feature a streamlined three-class structure (Pro ICC, TAG Pro, Stock Moto) and a $15,000 cash payout. Event registration is now underway; for more information and the latest updates, check http://www.kartsportgrandprix.com or email [email protected]
