ParticipantJim,
Would you have Matt stay closer to the RED BULL start finish arch.
He makes me nervous when he comes towards the final turn…8)

ParticipantJim,
I have a question regarding the timing and scoring. During the last Mile High Challenge qualifying session,my last lap when I took the checkered flag was not counted. I spoke with Angie and she said it was on a timer and shuts down automatically. Can you elaborate on this? I just want to be clear on this. I have always been under the impression that taking the checkered flag signified the end of timed qualifying.
Thanks
Tom

ParticipantTom,
Easy answer… you have ten minutes. The checkered flag is waved exactly at ten min. It doesn’t matter where you are on the track. The timing shuts off at 10 min.
Thanks,
Now keep RACING till the checker…..

ParticipantThe board is dead.
I’ll spice it up.
Jansen, we flew in Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance, to keep you entertained and OUT of our hospitality area. He’s bringing wine coolers and and the ingredients for (your favorite) Slo-gin fizz. Enjoy. I’m sure you guys will have a lot to talk about. All the Irish girls from his dance troupe will be given complimentary passes to our suite. I’m sure Jim will be pouring Jaeger shots and have them all sporting TTAC tattoos by the end of the night. yummmmmmmm redheads…….

ParticipantKirk,
You could have said something in poor taste to spicen things up such as:
Michael Jackson had vapour lock due to seeing a woman nekkid.Or you could have said the obvious:
Nationalized Health care doesn’t work. You bring your slow gin fizz foo foo drink. I’m bringing the gas grill for a saturday night grillin’ Brats and beer, how’s that? You might want to keep that polyester jumpsuit away from the open flames. I’d hate to see your overflowing chest hairs get singed… 😆
Redheads… Sandi’s a red head. I best be nice…. 😀

ParticipantThanks for the great weekend, all. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
Let’s get some hype going for the Pepsi Center event. Is there any more info available beyond what was discussed at the driver’s meeting? Move in time? Any plans for bleachers or spectators? Plans to get the word out and expose our sport in the local media? Jim, if there are things we can do or help out with, just ask.

ParticipantWhat a race!
Talk about the emotional roller coaster.
Thanks to Kirk and Jeff my pitmates for keeping me level headed when I wanted to pack it up. Gunther, Tom Dennin and Bob Collins thank you for bailing my butt out to be able to race. AJ for the calm voice as always with a smile! Thanks Again!Jim, it was a good event and I look forward to the Pepsi Center! In the meantime I think there are a few of us that need healing time for ribs. Personally, I need to get back in shape!
