    I agree that this was an excellent weekend of racing (even if we did go through 3 motors–is there a record for such things?? :bang ) Fun facility, extremely well-organized, and great hospitality–this was as professional as some national events we’ve attended, yet with a very fun and relaxed feel. Pat and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite our rotten luck. Special thanks to Gunter for all his encouragement (and loan of a kart and motor), to Mark Krivanek for his help and advice, and to Bob and Dale Kistler-Collins for their help (and loan of another motor!) Looking forward to the next opportunity. Well done PPKRC!!

    I have to agree. One of the best facicities I have been to for a kart race. I was well taken care of during my “incident”, when I dislocated my knee, while pushing my kart out of the way. Two corner workers per corner… WOW. They made sure I and the guys on the track were safe.

    My knee is pretty messed up. I hope to see the specialist today.

    Terry, very sorry to hear about your knee, hope your prognosis is a swift and speedy recovery. Glad to hear the event was so sucessful.

    I had a great time. Kudos to the team at PPKC and PPIR. :banana left my kart stand over by the grid. If anyone has seen it please contact me at 303-434-0971.

    See you all soon,

    This is GREAT to hear! It is good to see all programs in Colorado elevating their game. The weekend at IMI was without doubt one of the smoothest run there since I first came to IMI in 1997. I will have to make it down to PPIR… next year.

    To all,
    I am still smiling from the fun I had being a racer again and not an official. I am soooo out of shape. Regardless, I had a great time going back to my younger days. I will try to do an event like that once a year, $$$$$ permitting.

    Thank you all for making me feel welcome and giving it back when I lost my mind in the pits. TEAM BILLETT :hypno

    To everyone at PPKRC;

    We had a GREAT weekend even with bad luck on Sunday. The race track was one of the safest one we have ever been on. Yal know that I will not let AJ race on anything not safe.
    The officials and all the help did a REAL GREAT JOB (pat on the backs to all of you). 🙂 Thanks to PPIR for a GREAT TRACK.
    Hope there are more races scheduled for next year that we can be at.

    Thanks Again

    Gunter,

    I got your Corona. You have the stand? Where is the meeting place? Come unarmed. I’ll hold off the heat. 😆 😆

    Ian,

    Saturday, The Track, no funny buisiness. If I see Cops the kart stand gets it in the tires 8)
