ParticipantSo remember this week is East half track clockwise.
I had an LO out on it today and a 16/65 was pretty close. High 43s were the lap times so it is a plenty long track.
I’m guessing Rotax gearing will be 12/84ish.
Come see us tomorrow for some 1/2 track laps to get ready for Thursday! I know of at least 6 tags and 8 LO adults coming out for it! Should have a couple kid karts and a few cadets as well.

ParticipantGregg……..Why only half track?

ParticipantMike, because it’s fun 🙂

ParticipantHaving two tight turns create closer racing. Last CKT kid kart race used the east loop. The kids actually had a race because the two tight turn closed up the field. The LO206 adults should be a blast to watch. The loop back on the front straight is a very hard corner. Off chamber and falling away. Wish I could come and watch.

ParticipantWe and some others wanted to come out and race but were hoping to run the full track.

ParticipantNew layout every week. Week 4 runs full track downhill which is same direction the last CKT and CSC race will run.
Just to clarify the track does not stay with the half track layouts week to week. Wednesday’s before the race we run both half and full track, Thursday is half track only, and it goes back to full track Fri-Sun.

ParticipantI am a bit bummed. Wish I could make it but being out last week for Nationals and a race this weekend I just have too much to do :(. I will for sure be at the next one! Good luck everyone! I actually have driven this part of the track before (last year we got to run it on a practice day) and it was a BLAST!!!

ParticipantLeo – west half track, CCW. Dunno on gearing – probably a few teeth up from what we ran last week?
For anyone that hasn’t made it out yet, especially the LO206 guys – the half track racing is SUPER fun, really nice to throw some variation into tracks that we’ve been racing for a decade.
Hopefully I can avoid yardsaling multiple clutches this week.

ParticipantIf I can get work done I will be there!! Busy time of year with Fantasy football and what not. Servers have to be running and in prime shape to allow everyone to login! 🙂

ParticipantLeo,
I’ll try to go run it tomorrow and let you know a starting point on gear. It actually should be pretty close to east half track as it does not have as tight of corners, but has shorter straights.
