To date, it seems to me that there may not be enough Junior 1, 4 cycles to comprise a class this year for SKUSA-CSC. I would like to know for sure. It was may understanding that unless there where at least 4 karts in the class in would be cancelled. CSC what is that true minimum number to form a class? Angie, if you pre-pay and the class never comes to meet that standard, does one get a full refund of the $125? If not you will get people waiting until the very last minute before making that decision.

If you are planning to run all or part of SKUSA-CSC please respond below. (Angie, what exactly is the situation (money, points, etc) for running only one or two of the CSC events?). And for those of who are planning on running only IMI, please respond too.

    thanks

    Don,
I am going to say that you should all send in your memberships, I can hold off submitting the SKUSA part until we have enough for the class… that way we aren’t asking for money back from SKUSA after membership cards, rulebooks, etc. have been sent out by them.

As for how it works with not running all of the races, it is like this. If you are an IMI club racer, you won’t have to join CSC or SKUSA, but will have a slightly higher (by $15) entry fee on the CSC race days at IMI. You won’t get points for the CSC/SKUSA. There will be a one day membership fee if you go to an event away from your home track. I will get the details of that up here soon.

Thanks once again for the info Angie and look forward to that post. Do you know what the minimum number is to form a class for CSC?

    thanks

    Don,
that is $20 fee to race an event as a non member, unless that is at your home club track. The limit is 2 and there will be no points given. I have put the rules over on the CSC site, too

    thanks,
    Angie
