Newbie questions, looking for used kart.

O.K
1st I have caught the karting bug. Thanks to The Track opening very close to my office.
2nd I’m a liittle older than most,49.
3rd May not race much, i’m sure I’ll run abunch of laps.
4th I’m leaning towards a TAG
Suggestions?

I am new to karting but have been involved in motorsports all my life jet ski’s, dirt bikes.
Yea I know, I can count to four.

I was in the same shape, check out some of the shop. I’m running TAG next year thanks to a long talk with the guys down at SAC. They were great.

Just like Jhawley says SAC Motorsports has great deals on Tag karts. Give Tim George a call first.

Hey 49 is not old I am 58 and have been racing for 7 yrs ready to start #8.

I went right into shifters with no prior experience- a blast, but it is better to start in a Tag class.

Thorton, You might see what the track has that is very close to your office.
Seems like it would be good to try and support the place you plan on useing. Heck they might even keep it stored there for after them bad days at the office.

I live in the Parker area and suggest you call/go see Barry Lewis over at BilletPerformanceKarting.com. His number is (303)841-4855. He could definitely answer alot of your questions. (FWIW, Barry has alot of previous jet ski experience himself!)

I’m turning 44 this year and this will be my first foray into TaG kart racing. With the Track so close (<5mins), I'm pumped about the upcoming season!
