Actually, I don’t think a Rotax racer really needs to make hardly any changes to his carb to keep up. Last year, we did fairly well with our Rotaxs in TaG, and the only deviation from RMC jetting was we used larger pilot jets. We used stock slides, tubes, needles, airboxes everything! Because of the nature of IMI, I don’t think a Rotax would need to change a thing from RMC to be competitive.
At Bandimere, the change in slide and pilots does help and the same holds for Steamboat. ( We ran the different slides at those two tracks) At GJMS, the pilot helps a bit but a good handling kart and driver could overcome most of it.

InactiveCongrats Barry. If you had done this sooner I would have bought from you.
Obviously CRG parts-brake parts, spindles, body work
Rotax: IMI is my source they stock very well-carb internals/gaskets/PV/gears/chains/exhaust packing/springs/coils/starter switches/give me a deal on a CRG dring suit and I may buy.
Good luck!

ParticipantBarry,
Does this mean you will be the Rotax Authorized service dealer? My engine needs servicing before the season starts and I’d rather keep it here if possible instead of paying for shipping to California.
With what I save in shipping maybe i could donate to Rich’s new suit!

Participanthey Mike, why would you send your Rotax to Calif. when you have a Rotax Service center right over the Hill? Now with Barry in Denver the Rotax program in Colorado should get even better. now if we can just figure out how to keep you and Rich from spending your money out of State and support the local Dealers…..

ParticipantStacey,
My fault. So you are a certified dealer? Freight to you would be cheaper than cali. But then Rich would (still) have to spring more dough for a new suit.

ParticipantGreat! I’m glad to hear there is now more local help for us Rotaxians.

ParticipantYes, we will be a FULL service center for the Rotax motors. Barry is going to the Kart Expo in Chicago and will come back fully equipped and ready to service all of the Rotax engines in the Front Range. Stacey – thanks for your support. Kart shops in Colorado, working together, will keep the dollars spent in state!!!

Inactive$$$ in the state-here we go again. When I started servicing my motor at Accleration Kart Racing in Las Vegas no service centers in CO except one. Developed a realtionship with acceleration and a dedication to them, so why change. I’ve seen their shop-clean and professional.
But you can still harp on me about $$$ in CO.
So Barry get me a CRG suit for $175! Missouri is the Show Me State!
Mike: I don’t think you need to service your motor, I need all the help I can! Ya, donate to my Suit Fund! :argue

ParticipantDedication and loyalty is always appreciated in any aspects of business!
Sounds like a great deal on the suit –

ParticipantRich,
I have a $175.00 suit for you. You will need to remove the exterior and interior skid marks however 😳Buyer beware when spending that little on the suit that will protect you on hot asphault at 80+mph.
Barry’s record speeks for itself. He supports the local racer on and off the track better than any operation I have seen. Without his knowledge and support we would still be wondering what a podium looks like from the top.
Now there are options in Co for you Rotaxians from people who have built motors of all kinds for over twenty years. Don’t be one of the many racers in your class watching the Billet tuned bullets going around you this year. Be the one going around 😆
Curt
