please send those leads my way via e-mail, phone or pm

Got laid off and am looking. Yes I am still karting for the rest of this year.

resume attached-feel free to distribute freely.

    Thanks!

    Rich:

This absolutely SUCKs. Being laid off at “our” age is rough duty. I came off an extended layoff a couple months ago. I’ve got a pretty good idea what you’re going through and believe me Rich, if there was anything I could say or do……………….

Look on the bright side – the rotten, souless, motherless, savage, microcephalic, Pond Scum who laid you off are unworthy of a man of your quality. Those Bottom-Feeders will rue the day they let YOU go. There is a Special Place In Hell for people like that. You will find Something Better. It’s out there waiting for you. Go get it.

Good luck and hang in there.

PS: If you haven’t done it already, post your resume on Monster.com, CareerBuilder and any other jobs sites you can find.

Gee Chaz, Could you tell us how you really feel about people that have to employ other people?
Say you had a guy mowing your yard every week before you lost your job. Then you had to lay off your yard man. Would you then be considered to have the same qualities as the employer you discribed?

Another longtime karter bits the dust! 😥

    Our sport is slowly shrinking.

Man with the gas prices I am glad I am not going to the Rmax Grand nationals or the Nations Cup. I kind of had Gas sticker shock when I filled up yesterday!!!!! 😥

No, I am still a karter. I just had to save some doe for major home improvements and with me switching to shifters I knew that my doe curve of learning the class would be high.
I have sort of an odd view on this gas thing. I figure the faster we use it up the sooner the Middle East will have nothing to sell.
I might have to take next year off too, so I can get my wood alcohol still producing my fuel and my personal track paved.
I do plan on running my ice racer a little this winter.
