ParticipantGood morning,
The past two days have been crazy!!! Mobile view showing up with the big screen, lights getting delivered, the Airport Grand Prix running with Centennial winning for the 3rd year in a row, and all the out of town visiters racing and having a great time, and getting the corp. karts serviced, even, and ready for the 24 hours this weekend, as well as the race teams doing their final practice. Then the phone calls regarding Micro-max.
I can count 6 ready to go for the next Mile High Challenge race in July. What a great option for kids and parents to have a motor package that will get them thru the whole karting lifespan, and a great transition from Kid Karts to Mini-max. Sealed motor and a great option. In fact, for those of you looking at this, if you buy a Micro-Max motor, you get all the upgrades free to turn it into a Mini-Max and a Junior Max for no charge!
If we get 5 or more in the race in july, you will have your own start! We have had 1-2 “open” karts and 1 Jr1 Honda, and 1 Comer 80. They will all run in “open” and Micro-Max will fill the space of Jr-1. The schedule will stay the same, and the days activities will not change.
So, for all of you that have been calling, its time to go to work, bolt them on and come on out!!! This is a great class mix to the flights at the Mile High Challenge.
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Jim-
What is the Airport GP?June 11, 2009 at 2:14 pm #62634Jim Keesling
ParticipantCris,
Its a private event run by the Track at Centennial for the firm hosting Centennial Airport, RMMA (Jefco), Montana, DIA and invited guests. 3rd year running.
Just one of the many GP events here at The Track at Centennial. 3 more next week, 2 Sat. morn. prior to the start of the 24 Hours at The Track this weekend.
All leading up to “Keep Kids on Track” Denver Broncos Cheerleaders race and Calendar release party in August. Busy, busy, busy…You should take a look at Micro Max. Great path for development.
Thanks

ParticipantThe new Micromax package sounds good but is just too expensive for us in upfront costs. We simply cannot afford it.
Will there be any other options for next year in Jr1?
How about a factory sealed 4cycle engine, rev limited to 6100 rpm? Total package costs around 700 bucks + mount, chain and sprockets. Bolt it on and run all year. It is run nationwide like so you can easily sell it if you need to. Lots of good things being said around the nation about this motor, very close and fun racing. Just a thought for the club level racer. Equal engines at minimal cost and no need for builder blueprinting for your son/daughter to run up front.
