I’ve been hearing the arguments back and forth between these two so I figured I’d help finish this out.
So for anyone that’s curious if a 206 is or isn’t an Animal here you go:A LO206 IS an Animal. The ONLY difference is the Limiter. The 206’s will have tighter tolerances/clearances on the top end due to it being a sealed spec motor but besides that….same motor.
Some will argue that this or that motor comes with or without a fuel pump or a pull start and so on (yet that still can’t be argued figuring you can buy a 206 small block and have to put all the pieces on it anyways)…but overall motor, they’re the same.
You literally just have to swap out the limiter on a 206 to an Animal limiter and you can run in the stock Animal classes offered. You can’t take an Animal and swap out a 206 limiter and get away with it due to the seals.Hope this helps all.
I must have missed them there arguments you have been having. If you keep hearing these arguments before falling asleep and after you awake I would bet it means that you should start racing with us again. I have some old 206 seals you can have if your inner Animal needs them.

Did you all ready wreck your new car?lol Rodney bud if I could get back into it without any issues I totally would. Eventually I will though. Until then I get the pleasure to hear everything off the track that I missed before, hence the posting.
Now now Rodney, don’t want to give away TO many secrets of racing lol…..but yes I totally have an Animal we could get the seals back on 8)
