I am joining the LO206 fun for 2017. From my previous Rotax set up, I currently have a 219 chain with a bunch of rear gears from 75-89. Looks like i wont be able to use any of those gears on the LO206 (will be posting in classifieds soon). What front and rear gears will I need for Colorado tracks and the Colorado Karting Tour and possibly the MG Tires Series? Since i am having to buy all new, is the 219 chain and gears or the 35 chain and gears better?

    Hammer Down,

Chuck, 219 allows for better clearance on some karts rear cross member. An 18 and a 19 tooth front driver is all I have been using. The smallest 64 through 76 is a nice range to have.
You will need split gears yet you can also split your solid gears that you have.
At this time I will not post the exact gear that I used at each track for my weight class and tire use.

thanks Rodney. I did not thank about split gears. I guess that is a requirement for gears that are in side the right rear bearing like on a LO206.
