InactiveFrezze,
I have to agree. It is called marketing and CO does not do a good job in this area. Correlate sponsors to their business will help keep CO money in CO.

ParticipantOK, I can easily add a sponsors page here on theColoradoKarter with that type of info. I have even thought of putting it into a printed guide, a mini yellow pages for karting in Colorado. Anyone interested in having their info in such a publication, please contact me. If you have sponsors that might be interested, please email me the names and numbers and I will contact them about it. By the way, I kind of started this way back, and found that it was a ton of work to get people to give me their info.

ParticipantMaybe to keep it simplier the info could be gathered from the entry forms and when funds are recieved, like from the Steam Boat deal. Money was given to us, yet a few months later these bussinesses are still in bussiness and hardly anybody here knows who they were or how to contact them.
You know, work with what we have, before we worry about what we can get.July 10, 2006 at 2:26 am #54295Curt Kistler
ParticipantBack to the Pro Kart Challenge. The staff included in their registration packet a sponsor page and even some discount coupons from a couple of the class sponsors. Their food sponsor cooked fish and steaks Friday evening and fed the entire show.
The sponsor page had all of the information from each one. Phone numbers, e mail address, what they do, address…Just another thought for us to consider.
