Last Minute Reminders for Steamboat
Fuel — there will NOT be fuel for sale at the SSGP, please bring your own LEGAL fuel and oil. No oxygenated fuels, no additives, etc.
Airboxes are required
Track will not be available for practice on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be run on a strict 8am to 5pm time schedule. NO motors before 8am or after 5pm.
If you own a transponder, please bring it! We should be fine, but it looks like it will be a great turnout, so it would be helpful if you could bring your own transponders. And on the issue of transponders. We will make sure that they are secured on your kart with the clip AND a zip tie. If needed holes will be drilled to put this extra security. It costs money to repair broken transponders. The track owners – Brad, Stacey, and JB, are letting us use their transponders (no rental fees) – so we need to take extra special care of their equipment.
