:usa: KART RACING FOR HEROES is please to announce the next two event dates: June 14 at Grand Junction Motorspeedway and July 12 at Action Karting, Bandimere.
The Grand Junction event will be under the lights on Saturday night. We have set the race times so those who wish to drive at Grand Junction and leave for the Centennial race the following day, would have that option. See the schedule below.
The Action Karting KART RACING FOR HEROES event will start at 8 AM and racing will be done by 10 AM. The HEROES teams will be composed of military, police, firemen and first responders. We salute these men and women who protect us and keep us safe. This event will be dedicated to SrA Michael Snyder, an Air Force soldier, stationed at Buckley, who was killed by a drunk driver April 9th . An information booth with impaired vision goggles will be on site. A burrito breakfast will be served to all drivers.
A PPKC test and tune and swap meet open to all will follow the HEROES race. A frame-checking table for alignment will be on site, courtesy of Rod Ebersole.
KART RACING FOR HEROES is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations can be made at KARTRACINGFORHEROES.ORG. Thank you for helping us introduce our Heroes to karting as a way to relieve stress without the use of alcohol or drugs.
