KART RACING FOR HEROES 2013
UNSERRACING INDOOR KARTING
Sunday February 24KART RACING FOR HEROES is once again kicking off the season at the recently improved UnserRacing indoor karting facility. You will love the changes that are much more user and viewer friendly. We will have seven different Heroes teams from the military branches, police, firemen and first responders. Each team, five persons including at least one female, will be changing drivers during the race and competing for the prizes. We will start with registration at 10:00 AM and racing will begin for the Heroes at 11:00 AM. The cost for this event is covered by KART RACING FOR HEROES. We have set up a web page at http://kartracingforheroes.org/ that tells the story behind these events. We urge you to view the background and make a donation.
We have been able to add some new items to the racing venue this year.
The Colorado Junior Kart Club will be having their opening season meeting downstairs Sunday morning.
All youth and adult racers will receive two race qualifiers and a series final. A sliding weight scale will be used to level the field. The adult sliding scale will be based on Greg Welch’s and Scott Falcone’s lap times and weight differences. The cost of this series will be $55.00 for all adult racers and $45.00 for CJKC members and other young drivers. Unser’s $5.00 daily registration fee has been waived for this event.
Lunch will be provided for all racers and the CJKC members. Please email me if you are planning to attend so we can provide enough food for everyone taking part in the event. List all other questions on Colorado Karter so others can see any concerns and they can be addressed.
We are currently setting up a four-race season for the KART RACING FOR HEROES series. You can earn series points at this Unser event and free entries to other racing days and practices.
