ParticipantJunior Drive Developement Series
CRE Motorsports Park
Saturday, May 6th
8:30 to noonThanks to the Dean’s, Hawkin’s, Herpich’s, Randall’s, Rokke’s and Schrass’s for attending the inaugrial JDD Series registration, pretech, engine sealing and practice sessionon Saturday April 22nd. The program was very succesful and drew a number of new local families that are interested in the program. At this point it looks as though we have 4 KKI , 4 KKII and 4 Cadet Junior Sportsman I’s to start the series. Wehave had calls from as far away as Colby, Ks. and the Denver metro area express an interest in the program. The most promising developement is from local citizens of Southern Colorado.
With the formailities out of the way we have rescheduled the first event for Saturday morning, May 6th. The program will start at 8:30 with event registration and kart pretech to be followed by an hour of practice by class, KKI, KKII and Cadet Jr. Sportsman I. We will then have a short drivers meeting and instructional class to be proceeded by qualifying , prefinals and finals. This will be an interactive program with the parents working the corners as coaches. Please call to make arrangements for registration, engine inspection and sealing before the forst race date if you haven’t as yet.
The second event , originally scheduled for May 13th is being resheduled to Saturday, May 20th and then we will proceed with the original schedule as planned.
We are excited at CRE about the potential developement of the JDD Series and the developement and fun of watching the littlest racers grow. It will never be too late in the season to get involved in the series. If you have any further questions or would like further information please call me at 719 749 9840 or drop me an email.May 2, 2006 at 11:29 pm #53646Anonymous
