ParticipantLarry,
All that matters is by the end of the race you have a big smile on your face. I race only for fun and when the fun ends my karts will be for sale the next day. BTW, if you have any questions or need any help out at the track come on by. I will be the guy in the Arrow/Rotax #9 kart sponsored by ( ______________ ). I will be able to fill the blank in soon! 😀
Tom
PS About the laps, I figure more laps = more fun

InactiveLarry,
Tom gave you the straight on the suppliers he has dealt with. I have used KSD in an emergency and John, Bob and Travis came through.
But I favor Acceleration Kart Racing (rotax motor & parts) out of Las Vegas. They have been great to me.
IMI has been #1 to me since I started. I have spent more there than any place-right Brad/Bobby.
Who will I support in 2005 will depend on on which kart I buy-Arrow A-Max or CRG-Kali.
These days having a supplier out of state is no big deal—next day shipping. The problem is when you buy a chassis-set up, adjustments, etc–which is where I am.
I have bought from ProSpeed, kart Quest, APS, MRP and have had no problems.

ParticipantThanks for the detail on the suppliers guys. Totally agreed on all that matters at the end of the day is the size of the smile! 😀

ParticipantI would prefer to spend money with local shops rather than out of state. I have used Shockwave, IMI, and KSD. However, Andy is a personal acquaintance of mine, he does a good job, and he’s a Birel dealer (I run a Birel kart). So, it’s natural that I do some business with Andy.
