InactiveSeeing as how my race got cut short yesterday, I am going to head out to IMI in the near future for a club race or two.
I’m curious to know what their weight specs are, specifically for the TaG class?
Hopefully they are following SKUSA rules, so I can keep the same weight on the kart as the CSC races.
Thanks!

ParticipantSpencer, on the season opener on march 28th, the TaG Senior weights were SKUSA weights plus 20.
I pasted these weights below from the CSC rules before they were changed at Bandimere. These all are correct to IMI’s rules unless they do the same class split to Senior and Masters. If the do that i’m not sure what will happen on weights. Hope it helps! 🙄
This class is for TaG drivers 15 years of age and up. Weights for this class are based on the TAGUSA/SKUSA weights + 20 lbs. (the weights are subject to change during the season if TAGUSA/SKUSA makes adjustments to their rules) Rotax – 375lbs; BM Jaguar – 380 lbs.; Leopard – 380lbs.; Easy Kart/IAME – 380 lbs.; Comer – 395 lbs.; Biland – 395lbs.; Sonik – 395lbs.; Italsistem – 395 lbs.; Vortex – 395lbs.

InactiveThanks for the info Taylor.
I knew they were following the same CSC rule before the Sr/Master split.
So I’m wondering if they are going to change their weight specs to follow either the CSC TaG Sr or Masters or just stick with what they are running now. I doubt they have enough entrants to allow 2 TaG classes.
Maybe Brad can chime in here.

ParticipantWhen i was at the snowed out season opener 😥 , there was a total of 12 TaG karts i believe. On a track as large as IMI i agree that they probably won’t split the classes like CSC. I’m guessing though that they’ll keep the same weights as CSC before the split to give the would-be masters guys a chance, some of them can’t afford to lose 20 lbs.
