It’s been 3 years and now they are back. I am hoping that Colorado Karters will come together to put on a show. The last time this race came to Colorado we only had the group of racers I helped organized show up for the kart class. At this time I am only prepping 2 karts and am posting here in hopes to help other karters to attend. I have some extra tires, wheels and gears for this yet that’s not an offer to help with the night of the event. So set down the remote, get off the couch and post here with any questions and a show of hands on who’s up for representing Colorado Karters on ICE. Here is a link pulled from their website on the kart rules and entry fee. http://icespeedway.com/uploads/xkentry.pdf
I have seen some interest posted on facebook yet I think TCK forum would be a better place to organize for more racers to get involved.

This looks pretty cool! We recently updated the event calendar, and I am happy to add these events as well.
I tried to open the ice speedway website, but it failed to load. Can you provide some more specifics on the events that are coming to Colorado? Or are we trying to raise awareness?

What kind of help for the evening are you needing? I’m close to the venue and could be assistance.
January 4, 2018 at 7:11 am #70751Rodney EbersoleParticipantWe need more kart racers to have a race Lapoehn. Some help in the pits is always great too. Here is a link to a heat and a main we had there a few years ago.
January 12, 2018 at 9:05 pm #73335Rodney EbersoleParticipantHay! I need some kart racers!! This weekend I have a test track, tires/wheels clutches and gears to help some other Stupid Karter to get ready for next weekend. It seems like you are scared to race?
January 23, 2019 at 7:14 am #86082Rodney EbersoleParticipantIt’s that time again the date is Feb 1st 2019 for the event and I have 2 sets of ice tires and wheels available 1 american, 1 metric. I also have a test track available near my shop.
January 26, 2019 at 11:32 am #86091Greg WelchParticipantRod, are most of the people that you know are racing running LOs or running something a little more hoped up?
January 26, 2019 at 11:37 am #86092Greg WelchParticipantAlso, I see a driver in the video running CIK bodywork. The rules on their site state full speedway style bodywork which to me means CIK bodywork is not legal. Can you shed some insight on this Rod?
January 27, 2019 at 7:46 am #86096Rodney EbersoleParticipantGreg, We have mainly been mod LO’s WF’s and flathead. Brian Hoffman did run a stock LO last year too. We basically bring all the karts for the show which last year was only four of us and the race official has allowed us to utilize CIK karts. I have a set of american and metric wheels and tires studded and available yet the gearing needs are in the range of 7-1 to 8-1 depending on the motor. Today/Sunday @ 12:00 we are having a test run for a short track at the Trout Club which is close to my shop. I might be able to have another test run during the week if you need? So far I have 5 maybe 8 racers planning on the race and would enjoy seeing more.
