What do you do to winterize your 206? This is my first winter with a 206 and want to make sure I don’t miss anything so I figured I would start from the top. I don’t think there is much to it, but what do you do?

I generally just mount some ice tires on it for winterization.

Run it dry on gas but as you’re doing that feed it with WD-40. It’ll smoke but that’s fine, let it run through until the bowl is “dry” and the motor stops. Pull the bowl off and make sure everything is dry as well. Drain oil hot. Pull the starter chord until piston is TDC. You’ll feel pressure…then a little “bump” and then pressure again when turning the motor over. Leave it at the “bump” as this is when both valves are not being compressed. You don’t want to leave them stored while compressed as it weakens the spring.
