Rick and Curt–Christian has the varsity team working on his kart, and they speak pasta. And they don’t need Motrin and Alleve after lifting the kart or fiber drinks for breakfast.

He left on Saturday and was on the track yesterday breaking in his motors and driving a couple of different CRG chassis’s.
Waiting for his daily update phone call as I type this.

The Winter Cup is a one off race and this is the 20th year of the event. The track is right next door to the CRG factory and considered the factory “home track”. Christian is racing for Antonio Renda (Renda Race engines). Antonio does motor development for the TM factory. His motors are monsters. Christian is staying at at Antonio’s house and they treat him like family (in a good way).

This will probably be his only “race” in Italy this year. Starting in late April he will be running in the DKM (German Kart Championship). It is a 5 race series
that starts in late April and runs thru October. He will try to do the World Cup as well which is in Le Mans France. Kind of depends on the $$$$. Good thing the Euro is tanking.

We got rid of the Stock Honda motors and it looks like the only option domestically this year will be the Super Nationals for KZ.

Cris knows that Rick and I are up to our elbows tuning for Roman and Matt for this Saturday nights World Championship Ice Racing at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland. Come on out if you want to watch some fast karts running hot Rod Ebersol 4-stroke fire breathing ice melting thumpers.
