Many thanks to all the GJMS crew for a safe and fun filled race weekend. The Saturday BBQ was the best ever. Have a great week and we hope to see you all at PPIR in the future.
Respectfully
Eddy

Thank you! We really appreciate having the PPIR gang over.
October 19, 2010 at 7:58 pm #64523Roger MillerParticipantStacey, what a great weekend of racing at GJMS. For those who missed it, sorry. The rest of us had a great time. GJMS, Curt and SKUSA did a great job running a safe race. The border wars race was fun to participate in and watch. Hopefully Colorado shows up in big numbers next year at Miller Motor Sports Park and brings back the trophy. The Geezer race was a hoot to race in, thanks to Butler Cox for setting that up. Can’t wait to sit down with you and the others to discuss next year and how we all can work together to make schedules and racing more fun for ALL karters.

Personally…not that great for me, never have i had that many engine problems in one weekend! :bang But the event was great! The BBQ on saturday was spectacular, the Codger race was some good entertainment, and the other general awesomeness I expect when I go out to Grand Junction.
I haven’t raced at GJMS in a couple years (which is a damn shame), and Stacey, i must say…your track is FUN in a Shifter Kart!
My racing season is over, but i’ll see some of y’all in VEGAS BABY. :~
October 23, 2010 at 12:41 am #64525Craig MansfieldParticipant:co I had a great weekend. It was fun to get back in my kart after to many months. The gizzer race was fun and the track time was enough to remind me to work out more.
The food was great and the people as always were super friendly. I do see a hole in these events. Lets have a race on Sat. that is a little less expensive then the main event. The track time is there as shown in Junction. You could even have a rental kart division. The fact there is who can I sell my stuff too when I change classes. They might also bring some fans. The expense is always going to be a deciding factor how many more racers can we get if we can charge less and get more. Yes, I know that it is a bottom line decision. Zero times zero is ? How many racers could we have if the pricing is more like a club event and for the others it is a national event. If we build it they will come. How much for a hit in local papers or a radio spot? Just typing and thinking. - AuthorPosts
