    Can anyone tell me the correct fuel/oil ratio for a YZ85 runing Jr. Shifter ? Regards.

    Dear Phil;

    I would recommend 32 to 1 ratio of oil to fuel and not a drop less. I would also recommend that you use caster as it has the very best lubricating and cooling properties.

    What do you reccomend for a YZ100? same?

    We ran a 24-1 ratio in the 80 class with castor oil. Anything greater than that has a tendency to foul the plug, however, with the temp’s being in the high 90’s Tim’s ratio may work better for bottom end lube on test and tune days.
    On race day with fuel being one of the tech issues, 24:1 would be in line with the rest of the class, and the motor will bark like a mean dog.
