InactiveAnyone know where I can find that rubber edging you see on fiberglass seats? I would like to get some really thick stuff, that would preferably wrap over the edge about 1″.
thanks

Inactive8)Try an Automotive trim supply store-I think there is one about Louisiana (sp) and Broadway-look at the various types of weatherstripping

InactiveYep, already looked. The door trim is too small and the weather stripping too flimsy. I found this place on the web, and have a few calls in to order some:

ParticipantMarc,
Check out the actual Trim-Lok site http://www.trimlok.com/
Looks like they have all sorts of different styles and dimensions

InactiveTrimLok wont sell directly to the public, unless you buy alot (like +500 ft). If anyone is interested, speak to a nice guy named Ed at Main Street Pedi-Cabs (303.295.3822). He will sell it to you by the foot ($1.50 / ft). I picked up 10 ft yesterday.

InactiveTry a marine supply store.
Boats US, West Marine or a local Marina supply store all stock this material.
If you don’t have one on your area, try Boats Us or West Marine on the web.
They have tons of stuff like this at fair prices.
You may also try motorcycle shops or mail order houses.
Other sources include Pegasus Racing Supply, Skybolt, and Aircraft Spruce and Speciality.
If you are in the Seattle area, Boeing Surplus (yes the aircraft Manf.) has a huge warehouse and sell all kinds of things to the public.
I have seen this item there as well as everything else you imagine.
