Mmm…you mean jump into the kart from grid point, do a recognition lap holding positions and then have a rolling start…now, that sounds like will fit the whole Le Mans criteria, both from the past and the present. :D.

What i was saying was that each starting driver without a kart, physically(with their two feet), run a complete lap of the track then jump into the kart and go. We all know that drivers are athletes, RIGHT, so no problem. 😀

I’m gonna need a long stick hanging over my head with a cold frosty green-bottled beverage in front of me to run that far…Gotcha,…that could work too, as long as the person that is running last is fast enough to clear the track before the first person completes his first lap in the Kart. 8)
Now, Le Mans use to have the famous start with the race cars in one side of the road, and the drivers in the other one. At the start, each pilot will run to their vehicle, creating a bottle neck in the first corner, also difficulty with the rule and the fact that some drivers waited for several corners in to have their safety belts fastened. Then they changed the start to a regular grid start, with everyone sitting in their vehicles. Right after that, a rolling start was incorporated, and is still practiced today.Thanx so much for the welcome, I hope see you guys Sunday Morning at Centennial (If weather permits)

I like the part about some drivers not clear of the track before the leader comes around! It could be like the 1970’s movie, Death Race 2000 with Stalone and David Casidy. You could get bonus points for running down the other drivers still on the track and that would equate into a time bonus or cash!!!!!!!!!!

Just have them start from the bridge and run up the dirt road. That would be pretty interesting 😆
