InactiveSo what is so special about these rims? Douglas what?
Dash for cash. You would have to make the pay out for the top 10 guys and then I might be in the money and want to play. Some guys are itching but this is CO the worst snows come in March and April so it is hit or miss on a day that would be above 45 degrees. Really can’t race before that temp as tires never heat up and it is an ice skating rink out there-dangerous.
Tealemm what class do you race in?

ParticipantI could use some competiton on the ice rink. Jay’s been too easy to beat with his little Biland.

ParticipantI take it he is talking about the LV magnesium wheels. Stiffer than standard with less air in the wheel overall as the o.d. of the center of the wheel is larger. They have been out for almost two years now and is what I ran most of the year around here.
Dash for Cash sounds fun, like back in the day at the national level. What they did was start however many guys then last place each lap pulled in until it was only one left.

ParticipantGreg,
I’ve not looked into these carefully, but I find it hard to believe the air volume could be sufficiently less to really make much of a difference. But did you say that they’re also stiffer than normal wheels? Again, enough to make a difference? (We’re looking for more grip in the front of our Arrow, and haven’t yet found the solution.)

ParticipantJoe,
Yes, the air volume difference is noticeable. The LV wheels have similar grip to solid mags; more grip than the vented.February 8, 2009 at 9:18 pm #62447Justin Mueller
Participantdouglas rims greg is right they are new to me and they do work I picked up a ton of grip I race g-1 Rich get out and practice more then you won’t have to worry about not being in the top ten..instead chase the top 3 it was just an idea there have been many great track days already this year…Ben you big weenie strap on some weight so we can race fairly..lol….

InactiveJustin,
Just got my kart rebuilt yesterday and it started right up. Just have to scale it and complete my Baseline measurements for 2009 and then hit the track the next nice day.
Actually I finished in the top 10 at 6th last yr.
