ParticipantDon, some very good questions / points.
There is not A Race Director for the entire series. The track owners have discussed and agreed that each one of them may hire their own to run their individual race(s). For Action Karting it will be Rusty. There will be complete debriefing, if you will, before and after each of the races, so that any incidents at one race will not be forgotten at the next. So, on race day, the acting Race Director is the main man. On a series level, any “Race Director” decisions (ones that affect all races) will be made by the track owner/operators as a group.
The Daily Competition License will be $25. However, I don’t believe it is being charged for the first race, and I am not positive we will enforce this rule this year. The issue about how many races you can run without being a member will still apply, though.
Thanks for pointing out my spelling error.
The Mini Max class does need some clarification. You’d think since we run it, that I would have been especially careful.
The fuel is spec for this class. You must run the 93. You can run any oil (most should run Motul because of the RMax rules and Rotax recommendations, though). You can run any ratio.
MG Yellows are spec tires. You must run the 4.6 x 5 all the way around. There is no max width like with RMax, so you can use the rims you want.
The gearing is open for the CSC, not spec like RMax.The spark plug rule is the same as RMax, so I am not sure on that one, Doug or Dennis will have to answer that.
All carb rules apply as for RMax. The only exception is there is not a minimum jet size for the CSC.
I will make an announcement on the CSC site, and ammend the rulebook.
Hopefully it is a good combination of RMax and non-RMax rules.Oh, I also need to clarify that the seal IS required.
Let me know ASAP if you see anything else- this is going to the printer to be in book form for this weekend!

ParticipantFor RMax, the legal spark plugs are NGK BR xx EG or the Denso IW xx.
NGK plugs that are not legal are BR xx EIX or similar.

InactiveThanks guys.
I will assume the IMI/TTAC follow CSC rules.
Has anyone figured out the max size rim we can have with MOJOs and meet the 145mm width rule?

ParticipantWhile we are discussing plugs, Doug, do you know if the NGK B11EG plug is RMAX legal? As far as I can tell, NGK only makes an 8, 9, and 10 in the BRxEG range. At IMI last weekend my max jet called for a NGK 11. There will be a lot more of that this summer.

ParticipantLarry
For RMax, the B11EG would not be legal.

ParticipantLarry, mine did to that’s when you’ve got to spring for the big bucks and run a Denso IW 34.

ParticipantNot only are the Denso plugs more expensive, they are inferior in performance and foul long before the NGK’s. 👿
