    CRE Motorsports Park will proudly host the Sixth Annual SoCo Rotax Challenge in 2007. A title sponsor or individual class sponsors for the series will be announced before the beginning of the season. Sponsorship is being sought to assist the membership with the expenses necessary to attend the Grand Nationals. Series Champions will be determined by total accumulated points in the five race series, with the top five in each class qualifying for the Grand Nationals.

    All national RMC rules and technical specifications will be followed to the letter. MOJO D1’s will be the spec tire, VP MS 93 the spec fuel and Motul 800 the spec oil. The RM1/DD2 class is being added to CRE’s Rotax class structure in 2007. The membership will be required to declare a “Home Series” in their attempt to qualify for the RGN.

    * Race #1 April 15th
    * Race #2 May 12th (Sat.)
    * Race #3 June 17th
    * Race #4 July 8th
    * Race #5 July 29th

    The membership fee will be $75.00 for 2007 and will include a CCRKC Membership card, CCRKC T-shirt, 07 CCRKC rulebook, decal package, Champ Car Fan Club membership and a subscription to NKN for 2007. SSC expects to have membeship. Membership applications should be available at by mid January.

    Please call or drop me an email if you have any further questions. This should be a very competitive and exciting season to be a Rotax racer with the National Championships being held right in our backyard!

    Is the club not running the YHC tires any longer? Can we run teh first 5 races on YHC’s or do we have to have the Mojo’s?

    It only makes sense to compete on the national spec tire (MOJO”S) with the national championships in our backyard. The performance of the MOJO’s will be monitored through out the Challenge series to determine whether they will be continued in competiton in the WKA CSSC series following the conclusion of the Challenge Series.
