Lindsey Freier got her first podium last night at a national event! Driving her Shockwave Karting kart powered by a Flemming HPV, she took a strong fifth place in a 23 kart field. While the leader checked out, it was a 4 kart train for second place. Lindsey did set second quick overall time in the pre-final but was unable to move forward from her 5th place starting position.
There is more racing tonight and I will keep you updated. There are other Colorado karters out there and once I find out their results, I will post them.
Cody Dempster finished 5th on track in kid kart heavy. One of the racers in front of him didn’t pass tech so Cody was elevated to 4th. He got his first national podium on the first day of racing.
As a side note, Cody’s motor was torn to the crank and it passed tech with flying colors.
Podium shot, Thanks to Ryan Hiatt.
