    Hello Racers,

We have recently received an update from the IKF regarding their recent partnership and acquisition by SKUSA. At this time, The Colorado Karting Tour has chosen to pass along the following information to our racers. As additional updates are made available, CKT will do its best to keep competitors in the loop.

    From IKF (02.07.2018):

Hello IKF Members, Tracks, Regional Coordinators and Governors

This is a quick update on the announcement about IKF uniting with SKUSA that went out a couple of weeks ago.

Several smart and dedicated people and myself have been meeting and discussing the direction and things that need to be done. We have been opening communications between the two organizations.  Soon, there will be specific announcements of various steps that are being planned, effective dates for changes, contact information going forward and many other details and steps along this journey.

Collectively we are excited by the opportunity and responsibility to preserve the legacy of the IKF and become part of a premier organization that can help pave the road ahead.

The IKF Office is up and running for now regarding participation, membership, track sanctioning, or any other normal business.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, let the IKF Office know at [email protected]  will pass it along to me and I will be as responsive as possible.

As stated earlier in this email, this is all the information CKT has regarding this developing situation at this time. For further information, we welcome inquiries to our email, [email protected], but also urge racers to reach out directly to the IKF, at: [email protected]

On another note, CKT wishes to remind racers that our next board meeting is coming up early next week! On Tuesday, February 13, CKT will hold a meeting at Great Scott’s at 6PM. As always, all are welcome to attend!

Our 2018 season registration event is coming up as well! We are excited to see many of you on Saturday, February 17, at Unser Karting & Events, Denver. As this event draws closer, we will be sure to inform all of the exact timing of this event. As of now, we expect the rought time window to be 9AM-2PM.

    Best,

    –Eric Gunderson
