For some reason when I looked for old aerial photos that would show the track, I always looked under Boulder, not Superior. The light bulb went on tonight, and voila, looking under Superior, I found this, for 1964. I had not remembered correctly where it was located – I thought it was at McCaslin, but it actually is at 88th and the turnpike.

Another photo, this time from 1971. The next photo from 1999 shows  houses and the track completely gone.

Is this one where the Olive Garden is on 88th and Sheridan?

It was just south of the Boulder Turnpike on 88th. This is what it looks like now.

You meant 88th Street in Superior. Makes sense now! I was looking at 88th Ave and the Turnpike which is also 88th and Sheridan. Makes sense now!

I love this stuff man! Keep it coming!

I remember this track well. I was young and used to make my folks stop so I could see the go karts ripping around. This was the 1st time I saw a proper go kart and I’m sure what sparked my interest in karts which materialized in my 20’s to building and racing them.
