InactiveDon?t go down the same road that the SKUSA or the STARS boys went down by raising the price for the racer. When their pocket book is threatened the racer won’t really care about trophies, pit announcements or whatever. All they will care about is how little they can spend and how much they get back in return. If the $$ amount that the bottom 33% of CSC racers put in is perceived to be too much for the return they will simply leave and not come back.
I think that if you want to raise the CSC races to the level that most of us who have been in karting for a while invision, you will have to find a series sponsor and individual class sponsors that are NON KARTING RELATED.
I would bet my debt that one can be found, “IF” it is really something that is wanted. Spending our own money to reward ourselves is simply a easy way to cover the fact that we are to scared or too lazy to find our rewards via other means.
This is the only way that the CSC guys will be able to afford the extra expense of mobile sound systems, propaganda for the races, daily awards, product awards, season championship prizes without taking major steps back in regards to the viability of the CSC series.
Ps. If you do find a series sponsor and they are happy with their investment with the CSC don’t you think that the sponsor would be a powerful partner in growing the series and making it into what other national Orgs could only hope to be. Maybe that?s just my utopian view but I believe it can be done and without raising the price to the racers.

ParticipantGood point Josh. And I’m not frustrated yet Angie. Just give me time, I’ll show some attitude. LOL
I have been doing my best to get a major sponsor on board. Got some things working, and we have a local rag that is going to do a story on our season, plus do articles on the CSC. I can only hope that all of us are trying to elevate our sport to the next level with finding sponsors. If someone gets one or two on board I am sure we can become just as popular as moto x is on any given Sunday.
