    Don,

    good questions.

I assume you checked each track website to see if that information is listed, because I have not.

I asked pricing awhile back with no response. Track owners if you have a website please list you prices-pits,race day fee, yearly fee, any sanctioning fee and subsequent application on line.

Quite frankly I am not making as much $$$ as you big boys are so I have to plan where and when I am racing if at all and not listing fees just eliminates me. Maybe some of you would like that.

Biggest marketing tool for a track owner is YOUR website. Brad are you ever going to do yours-it is sad & your track is my home track?

So do we have to buy our own transponder this year? If not, how much will it be to a rent one?

How much for practicing per day at each of the tracks?
{Annual practice fee if applicable} They answered this

Cost of CSC races this year? Not answered

I heard at the meeting the registration fee for Track/IMI Mile High Series is $40 but how much for each race event? Outside the Grand National, what will the RMax Mile High series events cost? Not answered by The Track/IMI

How much for pit spots for each event or can you buy an assigned pit spot for the year and if so how much? CRE only one answered

I owe it to the the track owners to look at their website for pricing and I found a wealth of information.

Of course IMI has absolutely NO information but does have some nice pics-worst website of all.

1st Place: CSC: just lacks pit costs but that is covered by the tracks
2nd Place: CRE: just lacks on line registration form
3rd Place: tie GJ & The Track: lack race day fee & pit costs; registration form–I don’t think I saw this
    5th Place: CSC Schedule
6th Place: IMI nothing sad 😥

You may want to put on your websites the:

*Kart Check List that we turn in with race day registration.
*maybe a NEWBIE section-how to get started.

    Just my stupid thoughts

I am sorry I don’t have all of the different track fees. I will try to gather them together.

Jim and Brad are at the KartExpo, so not sure when you will get responses from them.

I doubt that the CSC race entry fee will go up, probably still be $65 for the entry portion at each track. There will be an additional fee to rent a transponder, probably $10 or so. That is to encourage folks to buy their own. I don’t think owning your own will be required, but as has been stated, the ones the tracks have now are not doing so well. So, you take your chances, and have to pay attention if you rent one. Anyone who had to deal with sharing or charging a transponder on race day can tell you what a pain it is. It definitely makes race day easier if there are enough fully charged transponders for everyone.

As for pit space fees…I can look up what it was last year at each, around $20 per spot per track, and will probably be close to that this year. And extra pit passes 8-10.

With IMI repaving, I would expect that his Test and Tune fee will go up.

The Tech sheet is available on the Forms section of the CSC site, and the schedule has been corrected on that link (was there all along, only my link said htm and the page html). Silly mistake that was easy to fix. If you notice things on either the CSC site or TCK, please send a quick email and I can get it fixed.

I am working on the rulebooks. There have been some last minute things coming in, like the new Jr1 Honda rules, and so on, so that is what caused the delay. If you have any specific question on a tech issue, please let me know. For you newbies…. last year’s book is still available on the CSC site, and will give you a good idea of what to expect.

The Newbie section is very close to being online, but certainly anyone with ideas for it should email me.

    That’s it for now….

    Have a Great Day!!!

    Don,
Here are the Track fees for the year.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Test/tune $35.00 per day
    Club race fee $50.00
Transponder rental – if available $5-$10 (don’t know which yet.)
    Reserved pit space 10X20 $15.00
First come-first served pit space – Free.
Leaving your trailer overnight Sat. is considered a reserved pit space and will be charge for two days of spaces (sat – sun.)
Pit pass – $10.00 per person. 1 included with entry.

RMax challenge. Must present your license with entry and select Mile High Challenge on form. N/C. (Fee for license paid to RMax).
Scored sperate, run with like classes, unless numbers dictate splitting. Still get points for Club series as well as RMax points towards Grand Nationals.

The Track multi use pass – We will be selling a punch card this year. Buy 10, get 12. This is a 20% savings for you. You can purchase these punch cards at The Track in the next week or so.

Thanks, and one more thing. The Track reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason… SO, from this point on… SNOW IS NOT WELCOME AT THE TRACK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!

    Hope this helps…
    Jim

Rich, all of this info except the punch card has been on our site for a year now.
    Thanks.

Yep Jim, the pit cost and race day fee was on the registration form, if I opened that up I would have found it. My bad.

    Thanks Angie and Jim.

I guess Brad is having too much of the mid-west brew to respond and beat me down.

There’s a form of communication… Been around for over a century now… I hear it’s very useful to get all the information you might need… Called a telephone… I’ll bet Bobby’s @ IMI and JB has staff at Action that could tell you costs for pit spaces, etc…

Just a concerned sideline person trying to help newbies and old-bies alike… 8)

I just bought two new units online from AMB. 😥

They have them instock now and the they ship in about 1 day. While I don’t like to lay out the bucks all at once, I feel like it is an investment that we should make, not the track owners.

With that said, I would like it if they would hook up the system on tune days so I can see our lap times online.

Jim/Brad, is that out of the question?
