Yes, Good luck to everyone that went!!!!!

With the opening of 206 classes I bet a few other 206 drivers will start to show up to these events. 🙂 Wish they would have announced the 206 additions a little sooner or made it more pronounced. Would have loved to join. Oh well, maybe next year or another of the races.

    Hey JDavis,

We actually announced the Sr. LO206 back in November on an Ekartingnews.com Top Story, on our own Facebook page, and also on our own website. EKN also sends out all of our stories on their PR wire, which gets sent to Kart360, Motorsport.com and Vroom, among several other websites.

Press is a funny business, I actually don’t know any other karting outlets that we could have sent information to, and still folks tell me that they never got info on this topic and others.

Aside from Super Bowl commercials and sky writing with bi-planes, I think we pretty much cover most places that we can.

    But,

    Why wait until next year?

LO206 is a non-championship class. These are all one off races with prizes, so don’t feel like you won’t have a chance at the championship, since there isn’t one.

Greg Welch has room in the trailer.

    Thanks,

    Andy

    Hey Andy,

I wasn’t following any of those sites at the time. LOL Keys why I didn’t see it. I was following this website, IKF, Briggs Facebook and LO206 Facebook groups (which told me there are a few different 206 series out there, but not COTA for some reason. Strange). I guess it didn’t get around until the first race. How I found out about it was Greg posting a link to a post here on Colorado Karter. As a 206 driver that hasn’t been in the sport that long I haven’t subscribed to a lot of different news sites at the moment. And seeing how Rotax was Rotax and I didn’t think 206 would ever be added. I was a little shocked. This is great news just didn’t anticipate 206 being added. BTW, this is the article that I was directed to. This was released in January. http://ekartingnews.com/2017/01/05/challenge-of-the-americas-confirms-prize-package-for-2017-adds-lo206-junior-class/. But that is Junior class. Google searches are not finding the articles that you said were released in November. If you have those links I would love to see them. As I would like to add those sources to my list of websites to watch.

The reason for saying I may wait is due to buying a house and other commitments are getting in the way of the dates. I may be able to do Phoenix but I am signing on my house that Thursday. I am already in talks with Greg about seeing what we can do.
