ParticipantI find it incredable how far BAR has come, as soon as Jack-Ass Villenuve (i bash him even when i am canadian) is canned they have the pace. And how about Jenson Button, star of the future for sure. I know only Chaz and Mike will comment on this, but its still good to see someone else beating (or trying to for that matter) Ferrari

InactiveThe best think they (BAR) ever did was bag JV.
I thought it was hilarious last year with JV talkin smack about Button and then Button goes out and kicks JV’s ass!
I’ve always liked Button. More cos I’ve always been fond of british drivers, but Button does have some skills. Its great to see him on the podium.
What would be massively cool is Button and Raikonnen both on the Ferrari team and no team orders. The Red Cars would be winning championships for another ten years. MS should retire anyway, and Barricello? Send him home.

ParticipantNow wait a minute there snappy’s 😀
I agree that JV was b_tch slapped last year by JB. That was amazing and yes JV needed to go to other things. I still think that with a year off and away from a losing team (face it BAR were not good at any time till this year when HONDA got it right) and the right team he could do very well.I want to see Jacques back in F1 since F1 needs characters (that can also drive, see James Hunt)
Ferrari have it right, Williams and McLaren are looking like they’ve never been to the podium. At least you can say Minardi just doesn’t have the funds, what’s McLaren’s excuse? Williams had a major rear tire problem last year and finally fixed it (at Monaco to be exact). This year they don’t really have any problems other than a slow car and an engine that USED to be the best. Same thing can be said for the Michelin tires too.
Now I have an excuse to drink in the morning watching Williams and Montoya getting thier lunch eaten. Ralf needs to go too. I would LOVE to see JV ride with Renault but with Trulli’s podium finish I don’t think he’ll be leaving.
Chaz and Mark, then you’d have to find someone else to bad mouth! By the way, JV won Indy an F1 and CART championship. You can’t say the same thing about Button 😆
Although he used to be the best Brit, Coulthard needs to retire and make babies with his model girlfriend or is it his wife now??? 🙄
I just hope that some team can be consistent and make a game of it. Schuey is an incredible talent and honestly even though I am not a fan of his I think he’s simply the best. Ah, if Senna would have raced for another 4 years…
Montoya P1 @ Monaco! Something’s gotta give!

ParticipantMark,
Now isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black?
Senna wasn’t exactly up for sportsman of the year when he was racing! :micOh, that’s right, he was telling Prost that his left front tire was loose at Sazuka 8)
When JV was winning (pre BAR) he just didn’t like doing the scmoozing for sponsors and that was obvious. For that he is a butthead 😆

ParticipantNo, those incidents with prost were odviously what they appeared to be, punting. Senna got a ration of it when he vetoed Darrick Warwick from joining the lotus team. But what can ya do
