While we are all waiting for the powers of the CSC to release rules, classes, schedules… Check out http://www.vintagekarts.com
Look at the photo gallery, especially you young guns. It gives you a great perspective of where karting came from.

I used to have a MC-10 on some kind of rude chassis back in 1964. My older brother tried to kill himself many times on it. He later succeeded on a motorcycle. Remember to always wear a helmet, even when your just goofing around. We miss him 🙁

Just a way to waist some time if your booorrrred 😀

PS: Anyone have a vintage hanging in the garage, other than Blink 😛

Curt, I figured you would be busy buying up the new Kart Sport magazine. How many times is Matt in there? Three, I think. All great shots, of course.

So what did you think of the SSGP article?

and just so you know, the next “powers that be” meeting is next week. Expect some updates after that.

I had to get out my moms scrap book to look at my photos from 66 -74
The photos bring back some fun memorys, I ran Mac 91,101’s and Parilla’s
The parts were a bit crude than what has just come off my current chassis.

I do have a vintage kart actually hanging in the garage – a 60’s Bug Wasp. It’s in process of being restored. My brother’s got my old Mac91, which would be a period-correct mate for it.

Anyone interested in a vintage race? We could do something similar to a “tuner’s race” at one of the CSC events……
