Participanthello all,
Just got off the phone with GJ motor speedway – they tell me that air boxes are manditory on there track for all 125cc classes. Is this correct? All you CSC guys run air boxes there?
What would be the best air box for stock moto? RLV?
Thanks,
Gary

ParticipantOld SKUSA rules allowed a 3 hole box and that would be the RLV. The euro trash stuff is all 2 or 4 hole stuff. What I’ve done is take a euro trash 2 hole and added a third hole. I used all the same stuff (air tubes etc) and it works better than any of the alternatives. It provides enough air that I can use a filter.

ParticipantRighetti Ridolfi has a new airbox out that seems to work great! It comes wiht a flat K&N style filter that slide in and out easily and will work on either the ICC or Moto.. here is the link. We have them in stock at the track 970-256-0107

ParticipantDoug,
Correct me if I am wrong but your karts are made by Parolin right? Would this make your karts euro trash?
My karts are DEFINATELY euro trash. In fact, 99.9% of all karts winning out there are euro trash. If you can’t beat em have em build yours.
You know, this sport is really starting to wear on me. The amount of S$#t talk in Colorado makes it no fun to be around anymore. Thank God I have Nationals to look foreward to. More competetive but less BS.
You know, I have made a lot of great friends in karting. But I have sure lost a couple of my best friends in it as well. If it wasn’t for the great friends I have met in this sport I would have ran from it a long time ago.
Doug, you preach how we need to help bring new people into the sport yet you make little comments like this on an hourly basis. Do you really mean we need to help bring new karters to our sport to buy your stuff? You are not Colorado karting. You are only a part of it. Ask anyone. I do not care what color your kart is. If you need help I would help. Not to sell karts or change them from their kart, But to keep them in the sport. I have been accused of stealing customers from other people. It is 100% the choice of the customer as to which team they go with. Who offers the best service.
I am not trying to start a pissing contest with you. I am busy enough that I pop on here once or twice a week. every time I do I read more BS then I care to read. And a ton of it is from you. I Know I know!!!!!!!! I can choose not to log on and read it. this is the standard answer to someone that is fed up with it. It just seems that if something is not set to your liking just perfectly you argue it and go on and on about it.
Let your results show on the track Doug. The only thing you have taught people on this forum is to how to make snide comments to make themselves look better. Okay, I will try your way one time:
Hey Doug, is Mike Wilson out of the hospital yet???????
No, that didn’t make me feel better about myself. Must only work for some people. I guess I am not one of those people.
Okay Doug, your forum. Start your 20 page rant on me.

No

So do I. We did a free chassis seminar this spring for just that purpose, to help anyone who needed help regardless of what kart they drive. We will be doing another one at a track to help people, regardless of what kart they drive.
… is Mike Wilson out of the hospital yet?….
Yes, thanks for asking. He’s home, a little sore but doing fine.
