ParticipantI send all my best wishes to Coleton (mom and dat too!). I’m glad to hear he is fine. Nobody wants to see anybody get hurt even though we know the nature of this sport includes some risk. I hope to see him back on the track soon.

He is a racer and wanted to get back in the kart and race to the end.
Mom and Dad finally stopped praying about 2 am last night. Now there’s a true racer to the core!
Glad to hear he’s okay and that Mom & Dad are fine.
FYI… Jerry Tarkanian, the UNLV Basketball coach used to chew on a towel when he was nervous. Have you both figured out a way to channel the nerves yet? In a positive way?March 12, 2007 at 7:49 pm #57236Anonymous
InactiveCheering for them with everything we have seems to be the best way to get over the nerves.
Mom handled things surprisingly well. Mitchell (#7 Kid Kart) wanted to get in the kart and finish the race and win for Coleton.
We are truly blessed with great kids.
We will be ready to race at the next event.
Thanks

ParticipantHello everyone,
I am glad to hear that everyone involved in the accident is well and in good spirits. Seeing everyone band together at the hot-pit to offer their prayers and concern is a true testament to just how great of a racing community we have here in Colorado.
Kudo’s to the corner workers and emergency service personel that were on site at the time.
In light of the events that took place on Sunday, I would like to encourage everyone to consider attending the KartingCoach.com ‘Basics of Karting 101’ for KadKart and Jr1 Compettitors.
Entry Forms can be submitted online at http://www.kartingcoach.com or contact Mike Weatherman at [email protected] or 720-273-7586.
Thanks,
