 It started with a trip to IMI for some fuel and parts. See Brad and discuss tires and rules. See Angie and family in the parking lot discuss tires and rules. Pick the finished kart up and go to Bandimere. See Doug Welsh, discuss tires and rules. See JB, discuss tires and rules. Fuel and run kart and motor on break in schedule, sorry if I was in the way. Met with AJ and discuss tires and rules. I was at the meeting and discuss tires and rules. I love talking karts and racing. I even got some second hand cornering tips from JB thanks. Sorry that I didn”t get to see you Stacy so we could discuss tires and rules. I did print the rules and allowed tires so if anyone would like to discuss them I would be more than willing to so.

I would like to start on cornering correctly and chassis set up so when you see me lets start a thread on these items thank you in advance for the information.

    Okay.

    I can’t stand it.

If you were at Bandimere talking tires and Rules you drove home right pst my house. You COULD have stopped by, and we could have talked about Tires and Rules. It seems to be The Hot Topic Du Jour and as you all know, I usually have plenty to say on just about anything, so you could expect that I could ramble on for at least 23 minutes about Tires and Rules.

These are very important. We (or more properly you guys) would look pretty damned silly out on the track trying to go fast with no tires. Pretty tough getting spun aluminum wheels to hook up on asphalt. Once in motion and without tires, turning wopuld be as difficult as starting. Forget about trying to stop. So tires are xtremely import.

probably more important are rules. What would life be like if people were farting in church, yelling fire in theaters or not bringing a 12’er up to JB once in awhile? All these things and more are governed by rules. If we didn’t have rules, what would we have to break? You could get away with anything – like PASSING UNDER YELLOW! Nobody in Colorado passes under yellow, because there’s a rule against doing it. There’s also a rule against cutting corners, turning donuts in the parking lot with a golf kart, driving in a cold pit, and giving hard-working track workers a nod, wave or beer for the efforts. It’s a good thing too, because what would it be like if we didn’t have rules,.,…………..and….errrrr,, tires.

Yes, I could go on, and on.

    but I won’t.

Call me, Mansfield! Call me or die!

I have this uncontrollable urge to listen to Jon Wayne’s Texas Funeral CD.

    Don’t get me started, Rich!

We must continue discussing Tires and Rules. They’re really important – tires and rules that is, cause you’ll look really stupid trying to race without tires on your kart, and the corner workers will rebel in the chaos of a world without rules….or is it tires?

Anyway, we must follow the example set forth by our sage and wise friend CRAIG MANSFIELD except for the part where he drives within 3 blocks of my house and won’t stop over to talk for a bit. About Tires and Rules. Or take that old washing machine, that he allegedly wants, away.

In fact what would be way cool is a buch of us show up at Dougs shop and start talking about Tires and Rules in his showroom/lobby until he caves and takes us all over to 5280 for lunch, where we can talk some more about tires and rules.

    Fun
