For immediate release:
2011 is setting up to be a fantastic year at The Track at Centennial.
We are excited for the 2011 race season in Colorado. The Track at Centennial has always offered the safest, most competitive and fun racing in the region.
First on the list are the schedules for both the Mile High Challenge series at The Track, and the top level regional program, Racing the Rockies – With Attitude, At Altitude.
The season kicks off on April 3 at The Track with the Mile High Challenge. The class structure will remain unchanged for this series.
April 17 will start off the Racing the Rockies regional tour at The Track as well. The new class structure of Rotax Max, combined with the three popular spec shifter classes (novice, spec, and spec heavy), will provide great racing, even competition, and a manageable race day schedule.
The class structures will eliminate the uneven variables of different motor packages, and it will set the stage for the best possible training ground for the drivers travelling to the Rotax Grand Nationals at Miller Motorsport Park in Utah. In addition, it will help get us in tune for the Rotax Pan American Challenge at The Track at Centennial in mid-August.
For 2011, The Track at Centennial has added one race to the Racing the Rockies schedule. It will be a five race, no drop series. All locations will be announced in the near future. Pepsi Center will once again be a double-points, series-ending, televised blow-out!
