Stacey, Your right- I’m a lucky guy. My back’s never been the same as well as my head! (that’s my story and i’m stickin to it)
I remember one time coming home from Moran when someone’s little brother (who will remain nameless) fell asleep and drove off the road. I remember seeing my life flash before my eyes with a 300 lb man floating in the air along the roof. There was also a time when I got a ticket coming home from Moran. Also, i dont know how you guys beat us from Grand Junction to the track. I had Buxman’s car red lined the whole way. And then my ultimate low was when Zartarian (sp?) pulled the ultimate slide job on me to take a 3rd place on the last lap at the Star’s race a few year’s ago.
It’s too bad it’s going away that by far was the most difficult track I’ve ever drove, right up there with pat’s acre’s in oregan. (Though you can tell why I wouldn’t want to go back there.)
Im sure the Morans will build a track even better next time, until then I will be practicing for our next race to CA. and the kart track.
