Hey Brad, If you connect the external battery to the transponder, wouldn’t you have to dissconnect the bad internal batteries so it will not try to charge them and discharge it too soon? I have also seen some charging circuits not work properly if there is no battery or a bad battery to charge and will not charge/power the unit. I am guessing at this but just a few thoughts… These things seem to be overpriced and have the karting market by the …….! 240 bucks for a radio transmitter/reciever?
