I wish you were, or I’m sorry, your son was in a points race, the entertainment value of watching you throw a hissy fit would have been worth it.
I don’t know how the “Stars” series operates, but if this kind of attitude is accepted there, I will never be a part of it.
Let’s not forget, these are kids! Even the most experienced are subject to brain farts, or just a bad day.
These kids your “mildly upset” about were here all year. They were welcomed in by those of us who decided to run the CSC, while you were off posturing your personal boycott.
Don’t come back for ONE race and think you’re going to critisize what these kids have. You may have a problem with it, but I haven’t heard any of the regulars with one complaint, kids or dads.
Taylor and I look at this as great experience. As Les pointed out, no matter where you go in any form of racing, there will be slower vehicles that the front runners will have to deal with. ❗
If you spend any time at all at any Saturday night short track, you know that most invert the start for the Feature (mains). The fast cars have to start in the middle or tail and work thier way through the slower, maybe inexperienced, unpredictable drivers.
I want her to get used to that now, not when she gets to CNS or I-25.
But for now, you need to hold your crying untill you know whether you can “comit” to run in ’07 or go back to “Stars”.
