How much does a Leopard cost to run for 100 hours? I’m only talking about maintenence stuff, not counting blowing it up because you ran too lean jetting 😈
How about the Rotax?
Do you just buy the engine package, put gas in it, clean the filter and go?
How often do you have to change the piston?
Rod bearings?
Crank bearings?
Gaskets?
Seals?
Am I being a pain with all of these questions ? 😳
How many hours do you put on your kart in a season?
The Biland guys claim to get 300 hours out of the motor before the first valve adjustment, then ANOTHER 300 hours before the engine has to be torn down. This, to me, seems unrealistic for a racing motor…
Any Biland owners out there care to chime in? Is it worth the extra cost initially to have that kind of maintenence schedule?
I’m 99% sure I should get the Leopard, but that four-stroke sure is neat…
