I don’t know how long pre-tech took at these events, but I usually find this process just takes longer than I’d like. I understand it’s important but I think it can be improved. I’d like to see a tech sheet developed that can be given to each racer when they register at a track so they know what items will be teched. Further, I’d like to see a process where your kart can be pre-teched in advance, maybe up to 10 days in advance at any of the tracks that participate in the CSC. I think the karter should have to at least pay for a days practice/test and tune to get early tech.
